Haydn spent nearly 10 years working in claims for some of the major general insurers before moving over to insurance broking. Having handled claims at a technical level for a large international broker as well as smaller local brokers he knows claims and how they should be made and settled.
Haydn has experience in positions as a Claims Negotiator, Claims Manager and Advocate as well as in Compliance and as a Senior Insurance Broker
We work with all insurers and underwriting agencies and their appointed service providers such as Loss Adjusters and Insurer Builders and suppliers
We consult with the clients Accountant or Bookkeeper so as to establish the value of the loss claimed and when needed we may engage specialist Business Interruption Accountants to assist us wit

Assist Account Manager to explain clauses , general policy operation and likely outcomes based on previous experience.
Find AFCA decisions that may support the Account Managers and the clients position on the claim. Provide advice based on real experiences with AFCA complaint outcomes
Initial review on new claims made. Including likely outcome, benefits available under the insurers policy wording as well as loss mitigation advise, based upon information the Account Manager supplies us only.
Communicate with the customer and Account Manager to prepare an AFCA complaint with supporting evidences
Need to get a claim back on track? We will review progress to date and any Loss Adjusters or other specialist report and provide advice to get the claim moving toward settlement or if needed we can manage the process until completion ( with regular communication to the Account Manager and if authority given by AFSL holder)
